Junior Development Program - Summer Session

The Junior Development Program (JDP) is a Grassroots Centre Program designed to help young players develop their soccer skills while promoting teamwork and a love for the game. It provides a high-quality, enjoyable soccer experience that emphazises a structured pathway to help players build strong foundational skills.

The program is open to all skill levels—whether your child is new to soccer or further along in their development. There are no tryouts, and every player is placed in an age-appropriate training group.

We would like to have two program centres: JDP Central (hosted in Brandon) and JDP North (hosted in Minnedosa). If numbers do not allow for it, we will be hosting all sessions in Brandon.

Grassroots Level 1 versus Grassroots Level 2

Grassroots Level 1 and Level 2 are family-choice commitment levels and are not separate training groups. They determine how many times per week a child attends training, and all children train together. Grassroots Level 1 players will train once a week (Tuesdays), while Grassroots Level 2 players will train twice a week (Tuesdays & Thursdays). Both Grassroots Level 1 and Level 2 players will play matches on Saturdays. 

Season Details
* Start date: Tuesday July 21st
* Training: Tuesdays (G2 players only) & Thursdays (G1 & G2 players)
* Game Days: Saturday mornings beginning August 1st 
* Ages: U7-U12 (born 2014 to 2019) 

Tentative Session Times (Times are dependent on registration numbers) 

U7 & U8 - 5:30 to 6:20 pm 

U9 & U10 - 6:30 to 7:20 pm 

U11 & U12 - 7:30 to 8:30 pm 

Program Fees
* Grassroots Level 1: $200 per player
* Grassroots Level 2: $250 per player
